Dr. Warren Lee

Dr. Lee received his M.D. and completed residencies in Internal Medicine, Respirology, and Critical Care Medicine in Toronto. He then completed a PhD in Medical Sciences in the Program in Cell Biology at the Hospital for Sick Children, followed by postdoctoral training in Microbiology and Immunology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. His research focuses on the mechanisms of endothelial permeability, with specific interest in developing therapeutic approaches to vascular leakage during lung injury/sepsis. He holds a Canada Research Chair in Mechanisms of Endothelial Permeability.
