Dr. Robert Green is Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Medical Director of Trauma Nova Scotia. Clinically, he attends in the ED, ICU, and as a Trauma Team Leader at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax.
Dr. Green is a Clinician Scientist in the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie and was recently appointed Research Chair of the Department of Critical Care. Nationally, Dr. Green is a member of the Canadian Critical Care Trials Group and past-Chair of the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians Research Committee. He actively collaborates with colleagues across Canada on a range of topics related to resuscitation of the critically ill patient including severe sepsis, traumatic brain injury, and therapeutic hypothermia. Dr. Green’s main research focus is to determine the incidence and clinical impact of post-intubation hypotension.
