Fellow, Antimicrobial Stewardship program – Mount Sinai Hospital / University Health Network
Dr. Thampi is one of the two inaugural holders of the Pfizer Canada Fellowship with the MSH-UHN Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. She received her Bachelors degree in Arts and Science at McMaster University, and completed her medical training, Paediatrics residency, and sub-specialty training in Infectious Diseases at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Thampi completed a Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Public Health, specializing in Health Economics, at The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine prior to starting her fellowship with the MSH-UHN Antimicrobial Stewardship Program in Fall 2012. Her research interests are in analytical decision modeling and economic evaluations.
