Dr. Margaret S. Herridge is Professor of Medicine, Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine at the University Health Network; Senior Scientist in the Toronto General Research Institute; Director of Research for the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care Medicine, University of Toronto. She obtained her MSc and MD from Queen’s University at Kingston, clinical training in Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Toronto and MPH at the Harvard School of Public Health/Channing Laboratory. Dr. Herridge is Director of the RECOVER Program- a novel continuum of care for patient-and family-centred rehabilitation and follow-up after critical illness, conducted in collaboration with the CCCTG. Dr. Herridge has authored or co-authored over 160 manuscripts and book chapters on outcomes after critical illness. International research distinctions include: the Dr. F. Marguerite Hill Lecturer (2015), Honorary Member of the European Society of lntensive Care Medicine and Lifetime Achievement Award in Critical Care from the American Thoracic Society (2018).
