Dr. Marc Moss

14516467_6177264Marc Moss is the Roger S. Mitchell Professor of Medicine and Vice Chair of Clinical Research for the Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is also the Program Director for the Education, Training, and Career Development section of the Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute. He served as the Chair of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) International Conference Committee from 2009-2011, and is currently the Vice President for the ATS. He will be the ATS President from 2017-2018. Dr. Moss’s research interests include identifying new treatment modalities for patients with the Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), and exploring the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular dysfunction in critically ill patients who require mechanical ventilation. In addition, he is the principal investigator for the Colorado site in the NHLBI sponsored Prevention and Early Treatment of Acute Lung Injury (PETAL) network.
