Dr Jose I Suarez Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, Neurology, and Neurosurgery and Director of the Neurocritical Care Division at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Stroke. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and President of the Neurocritical Care Society. Dr Suarez was the PI for the NINDS-funded ALISAH and ALISAH II Studies and EC Member for ATACH 2 trial. Dr Suarez also has been a co-Chair of the NINDS SAH Common Data Elements Project. Dr Suarez was the founder of the Neurocritical Care Research Network (NCRN) and the PI for the PRINCE Study, the first observational study investigating the practice of neurocritical care.
