Dr. Jacky Kruser is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and an intensivist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Dr. Kruser received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed residency in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin followed by fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Northwestern University. Dr. Kruser’s NIH-funded health services and outcomes research program focuses on improving patient and family engagement within the complex system of the ICU, end-of-life ICU care, and clinician, patient, and family decision making about prolonged life-sustaining treatments.
