Dr. Eyal Golan

eyalgolanDr. Golan obtained his medical degree from McGill University. He acquired training in Internal Medicine from McGill University and Critical Care Medicine from the University of Toronto. He then completed a fellowship in Neurosciences Critical Care Medicine at the University of Cambridge, England. He currently works as an intensivist at the Toronto Western Hospital as a Clinical Associate, and is an Honorary Fellow and Researcher at the University of Cambridge.
He is pursuing graduate studies through a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology (IHPME) and a collaborative Masters in Resuscitation (IMS), both at the University of Toronto. His main research focuses on the long-term outcomes of critically ill patients with brain injury, with a specific focus on the prognostication of neurological outcomes in cardiac arrest survivors. He is a co-investigator on studies of cardiac arrest, and is involved in national and international guidelines of prognostication in adult cardiac arrest survivors.
