Dr Sarti joined the Department of Critical Care at the Ottawa Hospital in 2017. She has completed training in Internal Medicine, Palliative Care and Critical Care. She has also completed a fellowship with the Department of Innovation in Medical Education (DIME) and her Masters in Health Professionals Education at the University of Dundee, Scotland. Dr. Sarti’s program of research is focused on the delivery and evaluation of system level educational interventions to improve the care of critically ill patients. She currently is co-leading the development of a national organ donation education program for critical care fellows, with Dr. Cardinal. To inform this program, Dr. Sarti is leading a qualitative, national investigation of substitute decision makers’ perceptions and experiences surrounding organ donation in Canadian ICUs.
