Cynthia Isenor

Cynthia Isenor is the Health Services Director at Nova Scotia Health Authority for the Critical Care Program; provincially focused on policy and planning with clinical oversight of care in Central Zone. Prior to coming home, Cynthia worked in Ontario as a registered nurse. Beginning her critical care career in Kingston General Hospital and moving to St. Michael’s Hospital. Since 2005, she developed her career with Ontario’s Trillium Gift of Life Network. Cynthia was an integral member of the group responsible for the development and implementation of both the province of Ontario’s and St. Michael Hospital’s Donation after Cardiocirculatory Death program and for the expansion of donation programs to Ontario’s critical care hospitals. Currently, Cynthia provides strategic oversight for the provincial critical care program in harmonization of care and as the operations leader for the tertiary/quaternary group of critical care units in the Halifax Region and the provincial organ donation program.
