Now open! Do you have a research or innovative education idea to pitch? We are calling for proposals to be presented at the CCCF/CCCS Shock Tank – your chance to win funding and mentorship!
Submit a concise 300-word research or educational innovation proposal October 7, 2026 to be considered.
Five proposals will be selected to be pitched LIVE at the CCCF/CCCS Shock Tank during the Canadian Critical Care Forum (November 23-25, 2026, Toronto, Ontario). Each selected presenter will have 10 minutes to pitch their idea, followed by questions and feedback from the Sharks. Our panel of Sharks will have the opportunity to invest in projects, distributing a total funding pool of up to $5,000.

The Sharks’ Fine Print:
- Submission closes October 7, 2026.
- Keep it under 300 words. Clear, sharp ideas fare better than long-winded scrolls.
- Only five proposals will survive selection to be pitched live at CCCF.
- Presenters must be registered for CCCF (November 23-25, 2026) and must accept to present in-person. No ticket, no pitch.
- Each pitch is limited to 10 minutes. After that, brace for the Sharks’ fiery questions.
- CCCF/CCCS may share selected proposals and presentations for educational and promotional purposes.
