Join the 2nd annual CCCF Datathon! The Datathon will bring together clinicians and scientists in a unique, hands-on experience at the intersection of critical care and data science. Participants will collaborate and compete in teams using real ICU patient data – this year’s theme will be announced shortly.
We’ll be working with the MIMIC-IV dataset, a widely used, open-access, de-identified ICU database. The Datathon will take place on Saturday, November 21st, with a limit of 25 participants. Fellows, junior faculty, and data scientist are especially encouraged to apply.

Join Pulmonary Embolism Canada (PECAN) at the Critical Care Canada Forum (CCCF) for an engaging pre-conference symposium focused on the latest evidence and practical approaches to the diagnosis and management of pulmonary embolism (PE). Through expert discussion and real-world cases, participants will explore current challenges and strategies to improve outcomes for critically ill patients with life-threatening pulmonary embolism – including how to setup a Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) at your local institution. Interventional catheter-based technologies and advanced therapies for treatment of PE will also be showcased.

Highlights include a “Pro-Con” debate on recent clinical trial findings and interactive Q&A sessions with faculty.
