Dr. Chassé obtained his MD from Laval University in 2006 and he completed residency programs in Internal Medicine in 2010 and Critical Care Medicine in 2012 at Laval University. He then trained in Ottawa in clinical research and completed a PhD in Epidemiology (uOttawa 2015). He is now an Assistant Professor in the department of Medicine at l’Université de Montréal and an Intensivist at Le Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Montréal.
His research interests are in the fields of blood transfusion, organ donation and large databases research. His main research programs aim at improving the neurological death diagnosis process and at evaluating the impact of blood donor characteristics on transfusion recipient outcomes.
