Dr. John Laffey

John Laffey is Anesthetist in Chief at St Michael’s Hospital and Professor in the Departments of Anesthesia and Physiology and the Interdepartmental division of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is Professor of Anaesthesia and director of the Lung Biology group at the Regenerative Medicine Institute, at the National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland. His major research interests include investigation of the therapeutic potential of cell and gene based therapies for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and for Sepsis.
